The distance between Judith and the Second Prince Cornelius closes

Judith is troubled, wondering if she shouldn't get involved with Cornelius, who treats her like a friend. In response, Cornelius tries to see Judith herself, without being swayed by surrounding rumours or her position. With his sincere attitude, Judith gradually begins to open her heart to him.

Judith agrees to the ball invitation out of calculation, and it is then that Hudson appears. She is bewildered by Cornelius, who approaches her despite having painful memories of the past.
